Task Angels are sponsoring the marquee at Fontwell Park’s Ladies Day, 19th August. So, come and join the fun with Bubbles & Biceps in the marquee. We will also be running a competition for your chance to win an Angel for the day – would you like someone to clean, cook, garden, shop, help in the office or sell some things on eBay for you? Our client, Juliette Byrne’s seaside cottage and slice of paradise was recently featured in the July edition of Home and Gardens Magazine, where a six-page spread opened up her home to envious masses.

We are now even more proud here at Task Angels to be able to say that our Lifestyle Angels are always on hand, assisting Juliette with her day to day needs, to get the property ready for a summer of relaxing in the sunshine and entertaining. Our Angels worked their magic in the garden, re-potting damaged flower-pots, painting beach-huts, power washing the patio and organising a visit from the tree surgeon.

In addition to gardening, we have organised everything from cleaning to various workmen, preparing her motorboat for beach trips to installing a new boiler. Our Angels have helped to ensure that Juliette’s home in Bosham always remains her idyllic get-away, and by following this link and going to page 86 to find the article, you can see why.

You work in London all week, and at weekends you want to escape to your beautiful retreat in the countryside. Thank you, thank you, thank you Task Angels, I feel totally cleared out and de-cluttered. My office looks and feels amazing and is a pleasure to step into. Speedy Sarah really just got on with it, running things past me to check what was what, but I just had to sit back and let her do all the hard work, which I know I never would have made time for myself. It’s going to save me SOOOO much time. Thanks guys x

The Busy Working Mother

Every mother knows this scenario:- You look at the diary and realise that in a couple of days time you are supposed to be taking the children to their clubs (with only 15 minutes between the times), you promised your boss that you would work late that night, your mother-in-law has guilt tripped you into having her round for dinner as ‘she wouldn’t be around forever’, the washing machine you stayed in for all day for last week that didn’t come is now due to arrive after you shouted that ‘you didn’t care what time it came – as long as it came!’ and your partner will have finished the particularly hard project at work that day and you just know he will arrive home bouncing and happy and wanting to celebrate. Having left your wonder-woman costume at the cleaners you sit and stare at the diary wondering how you are ever going to manage.

Your angel would meet you just before you leave to take the children to their clubs. Once gone, your angel prepares a menu to your specifications. Whilst the meal cooks they clean the kitchen until it sparkles enough to please any mother-in-law. They lay the kitchen table for three with a single balloon floating over a bottle of red wine where your partner will sit. They then nip into your lounge, and pop up a play-tent. Inside, your angel lays out a pre-prepared picnic for your ravenous explorers when they come home – they can join the adults for the ice cream in the freezer later, after your partner, yourself and your mother-in-law have had a chance to talk and catch up on the day’s news. Your angel leaves the house before you and your family arrive home. You then take all the credit (unless of course, you book your angel to come back and do the dishes later – in which case, we would advise you to make sure your mother-in-law has gone home first!).
